SPECIAL HONOURS
PRESIDENT'S MEDALS

Stephen was a retired Local Government CEO and brought great skills from his working life to benefit ENT UK. He first joined the Finance & Audit Committee in April 2015 and became its chair in September 2015. After several years, he was elected as a Lay trustee. This was a mark of the esteem in which he was held. He taught the concept of governance to the ENT UK trustees and moved the charity to high professional standards. He gave so much of his time voluntarily and the detail he went into was greatly helpful to the medical trustees.
Simon served ENT UK as a member of the Finance & Audit Committee and helped us greatly in financial governance in spite of his busy work schedule as a sitting judge. His skills as a lawyer and judge proved extremely useful in the newly revamped ENT UK board and his qualifications as an accountant were very helpful to us when choosing new auditors.
