FAQ

General Information

The Executive Committee has taken the decision to convert BACO International 2021 to a fully virtual online format, making BACO 2021 the first ever virtual BACO conference! Our principle purpose in doing this has been to ensure the safety of our delegates, speakers and staff. But there are other benefits - hosting BACO virtually will enable us to greatly reduce the cost to attendees, including the registration fee. In doing so we hope to open the event up to a much wider field of participants both in the UK and around the world, ensuring that BACO International really lives up to its name!
The virtual conference will take place over 3 days from Sunday 10 January to Tuesday 12 January. After the live virtual conference, content will be available to watch on-demand for 6 months- until 30 June 2021. Engagement and messaging tools will be disabled after 4 weeks.
Once registered, you will receive your login detail on Wednesday the 6th of January which will give you access to the platform, here you can create your profile and browse and favourite sessions.
The official language of the Congress will be English.
The next BACO will take place in Birmingham 15-17 February 2023.
