Are you a trainee planning your career?

Are you a trainee planning your career?

There are many decisions and choices which will shape the career of trainees in ENT.  The only conference where there are sessions with the best advice from (and open forums with) key decision makers in ENT is BACO 2018

On Wednesday afternoon the Association of Otolaryngology Trainees session will set the tone for the trainee programme, with Professor Janet Wilson promising to take trainee questions and subject the panel of experts to a parliamentary level of scrutiny.  The president and president elect of ENT UK; the chairman, curriculum lead and core lead of the SAC and a TPD (nervously) await your questions.

An instructional session on getting into ENT training will be invaluable for students, foundation doctors and core trainees.

On Thursday afternoon, the student and foundation doctor forum has a recently appointed consultant giving an entertaining and informative overview about the good, the bad and the ugly parts of being an ENT trainee.    Instructional sessions have advice for the sharp end of training with sessions on how to get a fellowship and how to get a consultant job.

If you are, or aspire to be, an ENT trainee this is an unparalleled opportunity to understand how to progress to each stage and question the key decision makers.
