The Student Skills Centre,  located in the Exhibition Hall will run a morning and afternoon session on Thursday 5  July; Session 1 10.30 – 13.00. Session 2 15.30 – 18.00. During each session students will be able to experience all 10 stations.

Why should I attend the SFO skills session?

 Practice clinical skills such as nasal packing & cautery, tonsil ties, grommet insertion, nasoendoscopy and tracheostomy

 Learn the principles of rhinoplasty and have a go yourself! Learn how to assemble a bronchoscope and remove foreign bodies from an airway. Perform a cortical mastoidectomy using a 3D simulators and insert a bone-anchored hearing aid!

 Receive valuable advice about building your CV and portfolio from previously successful candidates

Stations:  Rhinoplasty, Epistaxis, Grommet Trainer, Nasoendoscopy,  Temporal Bone Simulation, Tracheostomy, Tonsil tie trainer, BAHA, Portfolio, Bronchoscopy simulator

Places limited to 40 delegates.
