Professor Ricardo Bento

Ricardo Bento graduated from medical school in 1978, specialized in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Sao Paulo- Brazil, and gained a fellowship in Neurotology at the Zurich University – Switzerland (Prof. Ugo Fish).

Currently, he is the Chairman and Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Medicine School of University of Sao Paulo-Brazil, and coordinates research projects in Auditory implantable prosthesis.

He is a member of the American Otological Society, member of the Collegium ORL Amicitae Sacrum, ex- President of Brazilian Otorhinolaryngology Society and responsible for 186 Hands –on Temporal Bone Courses in 26 countries.

He is Chairman of the Otology Neurotology Committee of IFOS International Federation of Otorhinolaryngological Societies.
