Mrs Scarlett McNally is a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon in Eastbourne.
She is an elected Council member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Her work includes avoiding unconscious bias/bullying www.rcseng.ac.uk/career and improving students’ surgical understanding www.rcseng.ac.uk/study.
She led on ‘Exercise the miracle cure’ and a 2017 BMJ paper showing how getting people fitter would save NHS and social care. She won awards for developing NHS Band 3 ‘Doctors’ Assistants’. She has featured in BMA/BMJ publications including being mistaken for a waitress.
