Emma King is a Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She is also an Associate Professor of Head and Neck surgery at the University of Southampton.
Her PhD was in mucosal immunology at the University of Bristol. Her specialist Otorhinolaryngology training was in Wessex, before undertaking a 2 year ablative and reconstructive head and neck surgical oncology fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
In Southampton she works within a translational immunotherapy group who design early phase immunotherapy trials to understand which patients benefit from immunotherapy agents and how to convert those non-responders into responders.
