Mr Ravi Thevasagayam (Mr Ravi) FRCSEd FRCS (ORL-HNS), Clinical Lead Paediatric ENT, Sheffield Children’s Hospital
Ravi emigrated to the United Kingdom from Sri Lanka after having grown up in Malaysia.
He graduated from the University of Sheffield Medical School and went onto to higher surgical training in the West Midlands Deanery. He has been a consultant at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital since 2008.
He has an interest in paediatric and adult airway surgery, and a research interest in Inducible Laryngeal Obstruction. He is the Specialities and ENT lead for undergraduate teaching at the University of Sheffield.
He is the regional network lead for paediatric ENT and is also interested in human factors and resilience in the workplace.
Ravi is the Associate Secretary to the British Association for Paediatric Otolaryngology (BAPO).
