Mr Philip Clamp is a Consultant in ENT and Skull Base Surgery at University Hospitals Bristol. He has a specialist interest in adult and paediatric complex otology, neurotology, hearing implants and lateral skull base surgery.
Mr Clamp received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford before completing higher surgical training throughout the Southwest of England. He was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Gold Medal in 2012 for his performance in the Intercollegiate Exam. He undertook a clinical and research fellowship at the prestigious Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and University of Melbourne (Australia), before returning to Bristol as a sub-specialist consultant.
Mr Clamp has an interest in medical education and clinical research. He holds an honorary appointment with the University of Bristol. In 2016, he was elected as a council member of the British Society of Otology.
