Peter Andrews is a Consultant Rhinologist, Facial Plastic Reconstructive and Anterior Skull Base Surgeon at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital (RNTNEH) and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). He is a clinical academic at University College London (UCL).
His research interests include functional septorhinoplasty outcome measures, olfaction and facial reanimation surgery in which he has published extensively. He was awarded the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) Joseph fellowship in 2005.
His UCL clinical academic role includes imaging module coordinator on the Otology and Audiology MSc course and short course director on the Rhinoplasty/Facial Plastics, FESS and FRCS revision courses. The short courses are highly popular and attracts both national and international delegates.
He runs a MD/PhD programme at the EAR Institute which focuses on the surgical treatment of olfactory loss.
