Dr Louisa Murdin

Dr Louisa Murdin is Consultant in Audiovestibular Medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL Ear Institute.

She studied at the University of Oxford as an undergraduate and after a period of working abroad in Australia later undertook specialist training in London culminating with an NIHR Academic Fellowship at the Institute of Neurology and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square.

Her doctoral thesis was on the mechanisms underlying relationships between migraine and vestibular disease.

She has research interests across the range of adult audiovestibular medicine practice, including migraine, and Meniere’s disease, and is currently collaborating in the European Union EVOTION study into the use of Big Data in hearing loss.
