Helen Cullington is a clinician and researcher at the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service. She has 24 years’ experience in cochlear implants, having worked on several implant programmes within the United Kingdom and the United States.
Helen is committed to developing tools to allow people with cochlear implants to manage their own care at home, and has just received a £0.5 million grant from The Health Foundation to scale up her successful telemedicine tools across the UK.
Helen is on the British Cochlear Implant Group Council with special responsibility for the website and social media. She is committed to using technology and social media to improve health care and communication.
